Wood workshop

We have a fully equipped wood workshop. From cutting to planing to drilling and assembly, a piece of furniture, an enclosure or a repair can be taken from start to finish here.

Table saw and planer

The table saw handles straight cuts in boards and sheets; the planer brings rough timber to an even thickness and a clean surface.

Band saw

Band saw

Use the band saw for curves and rounded shapes a table saw is too straight for — and for cutting thicker pieces.

Wood lathe

Round parts come off the wood lathe: bowls, handles, legs, candlesticks. The wood turns and you guide the tool by hand.

Mitre saw

Mitre saw

The mitre saw cuts battens and strips to length, including mitres — the quickest way to a lot of pieces the same length.

Pillar drills

At the pillar drills you drill square to the surface and to a consistent depth — more accurately than a hand drill allows.

Workbenches

Workbenches

We have several workbenches with vices and clamps — room to glue, screw, sand and assemble, even with several people working at once.

Just drop by on one of our opening evenings and take a look — we are happy to show you how the machines work. You do not need any previous experience.
