Home automation is becoming ever more important. The components can now be bought in any DIY store. Our flats and houses are supposed to become “intelligent”. That is not always useful or sensible. But you can have a great deal of fun with it.
How exactly — that is what we want to show you!
In our workshop “Playing with Home Assistant” we give a hands-on introduction to home automation with Home Assistant. The focus of the workshop is on experiencing and trying things out.
Among other things we will try to answer the following questions:
- What exactly is Home Assistant?
- What can I do with it?
- What hardware do I need?
After that we move on to typical use cases, which we will work through together. And afterwards you will hopefully be motivated to make your own home a little more intelligent too.
