Hot cuts – introduction to laser cutting

Do you share our enthusiasm for lasers? Then this introduction to working with materials on our KH-3020 laser might be just the thing for you. It takes place on Friday, 19 November during our regular opening hours from 20:00.

The KH-3020 is a variant of the popular K40 CO2 laser. The controller has however been replaced to extend what it can do. It is driven with the software LightBurn.

During the introduction we will optimise the cutting and engraving settings for a typical material together and create a material test card. In doing so we get to know the machine and its software. After this introduction you will normally be qualified to use Starship Factory’s laser cutter on your own. After that you can let loose with your own projects.
