New 3D printing corner

After things had always been a little cramped in the previous 3D printing corner, Claudius took the initiative and secured us a few metres of high-quality metal shelving. We have now put it up and moved the printers over, for the most part.

That finally gives us room for relaxed working, and for expansion too. The new printer provided by Ben, for instance, has found its home there. As a side effect we were also able to finally store the film rolls for the plotter, and the plotter itself, properly.

The tool benches that previously stood where the shelving is now have been dismantled and stowed in the shelf in the corridor. The same goes for the tools. We took the opportunity to sort things out as well. The items sorted out are currently in the wire basket between the shelves, waiting there to be disposed of.

The redesign of the 3D printing corner also opens up the possibility of rearranging the previous shelving system and the couch corner. Everyone is invited to start thinking about how the available space could be divided up and used even better.

We wish everyone a lot of fun using the new possibilities.
