Dear makers,
Starship Factory invites you on 7 March between 14:00 and 17:00 to an Easter decoration workshop. We will burn Easter motifs out of thin wooden sheets with the laser cutter and then colour them in. Anyone who feels like joining in can drop by at any time. There is no fixed start time.
We have already prepared a range of motifs. If you want to design your own, please bring your own laptop. In that case you need a vector drawing program that can create SVG files (Inkscape, for example). You will find further information in our wiki. For a small number of participants we can provide laptops as well.
For the “finish” of the wooden motifs you are welcome to bring your own paints and other decorating material. Basic supplies are available. Of course you can also simply leave the pieces natural.
The workshop is free of charge. Donations are however requested (we will put out a collection box). If you would like to come, please sign up in the Doodle. That way we can estimate how much material and how many instructors we need.
