On 2 April 2016 the international Arduino Day takes place again. And this time too we at Starship Factory will be putting on a varied programme. A few highlights:
- For everyone curious and new to it, Christoph from Starship Factory gives an insight into the Arduino world: what is an Arduino? What do you do with it? How can I dive into the Arduino world myself, right here?
- Dr. Mathias Wilhelm presents his HelvePIC32 project, an Arduino-compatible microcontroller to solder together yourself.
- Cedric from CS Audio Design presents his Gesture Based Performance System (GePS) in a workshop, which turns body movements into music.
The detailed programme with all the activities will be published shortly. But do not wait for it — put 2 April in your calendar today!
As always we have plenty of Arduino Uno and Arduino Nano boards to tinker with, as well as a whole shelf wall full of accessories.
If you want to go a step further, you can also design cases for Arduino projects to your own requirements here and then 3D print them. We are glad to help with that too. So come by, the visit is worth it! Not just for you, for your Arduino as well.
So do not forget, and spread the word: 02.04.2016 is Arduino Day.
Here is the unofficial timetable for now.
14:00 to 16:00 introduction to the Arduino world
16:00 to 18:00 HelvePic project
18:00 to 20:00 Gesture Based Performance System workshop
The times may still change, we will keep you posted.
