Have you always wanted to learn to program, but thought until now that it was too hard for you, or simply never got round to it? We have exactly the right workshop for you, and it is easier than you think.
Come by and let us convince you! On Saturday, 27.06.2015 from 14:00 to 16:30, Alexander Schremmer (xoraxax) is giving an introduction to the basics of programming using the programming language “Python”. Anyone who wants to learn to program can take part — member or not. No prior knowledge of programming is needed; knowing some English is useful (but not required).
For taking part in this workshop we ask for a contribution towards expenses of CHF 20. We are of course also glad of further donations.
To make planning easier at our end, it would be nice if you could register at workshops@lists.starship-factory.ch. People who decide spontaneously are welcome all the same.

If possible you should bring your own laptop running MacOS X, Linux or Windows, on which you have admin rights to install the software. Please write us an email if that is not possible — there are a few visitor laptops available.
