Soldering case prototype ready for use

In preparation for soldering workshops away from home, we picked up a case cheaply and filled it with soldering equipment. You could now simply grab it and travel somewhere with it to solder. The interior still needs some work, though, so that before long you only have to open the case to solder with it, instead of laboriously taking all the parts out and placing them on a table. If you can look past that, the case already works excellently.

The soldering case contains a soldering station, another soldering iron, an oscilloscope, cleaning tools, desoldering braid, insulating tape and a contents list for checking that everything is still there.

But the case is only the beginning: more soldering stations are already on their way to us and we will certainly put together further soldering cases. Workshops are also in preparation, in which we want to introduce our members and interested visitors to soldering by example. Stay tuned!

One possible extension is that the case does not yet contain a battery to let you solder without a mains socket. Perhaps we will make up for that in a later version!
